Provide essential speech-language pathology services in an elementary school setting, supporting students from PreK through 6th grade. This full-time contract role offers a caseload of approximately 25 students and involves collaboration with educators and families to enhance communication skills and support individualized education plans (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to students across early childhood and elementary grades
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active or pending Vermont SLP license, or eligibility to apply for licensure
- ASHA certification is advantageous; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to manage a caseload of 25 students within PreK to grade 6
- Strong organizational and communication skills for effective documentation and collaboration
