Speech and Language Pathologist - Essex Junction, VT

Provide essential speech-language pathology services in an elementary school setting, supporting students from PreK through 6th grade. This full-time contract role offers a caseload of approximately 25 students and involves collaboration with educators and families to enhance communication skills and support individualized education plans (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to students across early childhood and elementary grades

Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active or pending Vermont SLP license, or eligibility to apply for licensure
• ASHA certification is advantageous; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to manage a caseload of 25 students within PreK to grade 6
• Strong organizational and communication skills for effective documentation and collaboration
