- For professional-track Instructor of the Practice: Bachelors degree in a related field and Associates degree in Physical Therapist Assistant required. Advanced degree preferred.
- For tenure-track Assistant Professor: PTA plus Masters degree in a related field, or bachelors degree or higher in Physical Therapy required; DPT preferred.
- Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant in any United States jurisdiction required.
- Preference to those with experience in physical therapy education.
- Minimum of three years (or equivalent) post-licensure clinical practice, and two years of experience in teaching, curriculum development, and/or administration in a PT or PTA program required.
- Demonstrated ability in successful teaching; be technology literate and/or willing to become certified in online instruction and teach one or more courses online and/or in a blended format. Finalists will be required to demonstrate competence through a teaching demonstration.
- Demonstrated ability to provide proactive educational leadership; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commitment to work collaboratively with community health care providers.
- Commitment to academic excellence and exceptional services, with proven effectiveness in allocating and managing resources, utilizing computer-related technologies to enhance education methodology, and proficiency in curriculum design, instruction, student guidance, and academic counseling.
POSITION DETAILS, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Full-time (10-month) tenure-track or professional-track faculty position. Faculty service begins January, 2026, with pay and benefits starting January, 2026. Annual salary of $66,000-$70,000 for Instructor of the Practice (professional-track) and $75,000-$79,000 for Assistant Professor (tenure-track), with additional compensation available for optional summer/overload teaching.
