Local Contract Occupational Therapist - $50-55 per hour

MedAdventures is currently hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Albuquerque, NM.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Perform OT evaluations and implement treatment plans for participants.
• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team (IDT) to create and revise care plans.
• Provide therapy on an acute, restorative, and maintenance level.
• Conduct home visits and educational sessions as needed.
• Instruct participants, caregivers, and staff in the use of DME and ADL techniques.
• Document services and maintain required records and reports.
• Participate in staff meetings, care conferences, and in-service programs.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and infection control in therapy areas

Requirements:

• Valid OT license in the state of New Mexico.
• Experience in outpatient, geriatric settings is a plus.
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
