Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join an educational team in Newton, NC for the 20252026 school year . This is a full-time position serving four private schools within the county , working with a manageable caseload of 23 students ranging from Kindergarten through 12th grade .

Position Details:

• Start Date: August 2025 (exact date TBD)

• End Date: June 2026

• Schedule: Full-time, school hours

• Caseload: 23 students, K12

• Service Locations: 4 private schools within Catawba County

• Setting: In-person, school-based services

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy to students according to IEP or service plan goals

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and reassessments

• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success

• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines

• Travel between the assigned private school locations as needed

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

• Active North Carolina SLP license (or eligibility)

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates may be considered

• Prior school-based experience is a plus

• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills

• Reliable transportation for travel between school sites
