Speech Language Pathologist

Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech Pathology, Speech Audiology, Communications Disorders, or similar program.
Must hold or be able to obtain a teaching certificate with OSPI, including the appropriate endorsement
Washington State Educational Staff Associate Certification (ESA)
BLS/CPR Certification
Job Description:
Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location
Recruitment Specialists can discuss in detail upon application to connect you to the classroom and best suits your experience and skillset
In-person openings in Elementary, Middle, and High Schools.
Contract through the 2024/2025 school year (41 weeks) - 37.5 to 40 hours per week
Contract follows the academic district calendar
Full-time, in person
Position Overview: Provide speech and language therapy services to help students improve communication and learning skills.
Essential Functions:
Identify students needing specialized speech or language services and provide tailored solutions for academic success.
Conduct individual and group therapy using curriculum-based materials and provide progress reports.
Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and provide alternative communication systems.
Create engaging learning environments and promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.
Explore individual learning needs, develop personalized solutions, and implement curriculum goals.
Model mature behavior, uphold values, and encourage character development.
Salary:
$80-$90/hr. based on your experience
$3000-$3375 weekly DOE
$1,000 bonuses upon starting and completing contract
