Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) School Setting Surprise, AZ

A local school district in Surprise, Arizona is looking to hire a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in developing essential communication skills. Position Overview:
In this role, the SLPA will assist a licensed SLP in delivering therapy services to students with diverse communication needs. You will support therapy sessions, prepare materials, and contribute to progress tracking in compliance with IEP goals and school protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP

• Support therapy planning and material preparation

• Collect and document data on student progress

• Assist with implementing IEP-based communication interventions

• Collaborate with teachers and support staff

• Maintain confidentiality and follow school and district policies

Qualifications:

• Associates or bachelors degree in Communication Sciences or related field

• Valid SLPA license in the state of Arizona

• Previous experience in a school setting preferred

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

• Ability to follow direction and contribute to a team-focused environment

Job Details:

• Location: Surprise, AZ

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, school hours
