A K-12 public school in Kent, WA is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2025-2026 school year, from September 2, 2025, through June 16, 2026. This onsite position requires the candidate to provide pediatric speech-language services within the school setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with pediatric populations
- Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery (though current focus is on in-person services)
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- ESA certification for Washington State in hand
- Experience and preference for school-based settings
- Commitment to full-time onsite work; this position does not accommodate Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure effective student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and case records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Caseload details will be discussed during the interview; candidates are encouraged to share their caseload preferences ahead of time due to the varying needs of the student population
