Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Gaithersburg, MD

A full-time speech-language pathologist (SLP) is needed for the 2025-2026 school year to provide on-site services in a K-12 school setting located in Gaithersburg, MD. This contract position offers consistent weekly hours with a guaranteed caseload, allowing for meaningful engagement with students across a wide range of grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students K-12
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
• Provide therapy in both individual and group settings
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
• Monitor and document student outcomes and modify therapy strategies accordingly
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering professional insights and recommendations
• Train and support school staff with effective speech and language strategies

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid Maryland SLP license required
