This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services within a K-8 school setting for the 2025-2026 school year. The role requires delivering specialized speech and language therapy to students in grades PreK-8, supporting their communication and developmental needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts.
Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience or interest in working with pediatric populations in healthcare, school, or clinical settings.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is acceptable.
- Ability to work effectively within a school environment serving K-12 students.
Location & Schedule:
- Position located in Elgin, IL.
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
- Contract position for the 2025-2026 school year.
