Speech and Language Pathologist in Phoenix, AZ

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a full-time contract position working with elementary school students in Phoenix, AZ. This role offers a guaranteed 37.5 hours per week and involves providing therapy, conducting evaluations, writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and collecting data to support student progress. Candidates can expect a supportive work environment with options for an elementary grade caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students
  • Conduct evaluations to assess student needs and progress
  • Develop and write IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Collect and maintain accurate documentation and data

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Active or pending Arizona state SLP license
  • Arizona teaching certification(s)
  • At least one year of experience in a school setting preferred, but not mandatory
  • CFY candidates encouraged to apply; supervision and licensure support provided
