About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide remote teletherapy services to a diverse caseload of children and adults across Nevada. As a member of our dynamic team, you will deliver high-quality speech and language therapy via secure online platforms, ensuring accessibility and continuity of care for clients in various settings.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to determine client needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) tailored to each client's goals.
Provide direct therapy services through telepractice, utilizing evidence-based techniques.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals, to optimize client outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans.
Participate in virtual meetings and case conferences as required.
Stay current with advancements in teletherapy practices and continuing education.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Active and unrestricted SLP license in the state of Nevada.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Minimum of 2 years of experience providing speech-language therapy services, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
Proficiency in using teletherapy platforms and technology.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.
Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish, are a plus.
Familiarity with Medicaid billing and documentation requirements.
