About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide remote teletherapy services to K12 students in Michigan. As a member of our dynamic team, you will deliver high-quality speech and language therapy via secure online platforms, ensuring accessibility and continuity of care for students in various educational settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct virtual speech and language assessments and therapy sessions

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support and monitor student progress

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans

  • Participate in virtual meetings and case conferences as required

  • Stay current with advancements in teletherapy practices and continuing education

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Active and unrestricted SLP license in the state of Michigan

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing speech-language therapy services, preferably in a school or pediatric setting

  • Proficiency in using teletherapy platforms and technology

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices

  • Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish, are a plus

  • Familiarity with Medicaid billing and documentation requirements
