Speech Language Pathologist

The Little Compton School Department is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist for four to five days a week, starting with the 25-26 school year. The individual in this position will report to the Director of Student Support Services. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:1.Evaluate students' SLP needs and partner with Student Support Services to deliver speech and language services. 2.Develop and deliver speech and language treatments in accordance with individual students' plans. 3.Monitor and document students' progress according to school department procedures and IEP requirements.4.Consult and communicate with teaching, home, and care teams in order to bring about the best possible student outcomes. 5.Maintain professional competence through professional development provided by the school department and/or in self-selected professional growth activities.6. Use technology and programs that align with school department protocols.7.Participate in faculty committees and sponsorship of pupil activities.8. Assist with child outreach services as needed, under the direction of the Student Support Services Director. 9.Any other responsibilities as deemed necessary to achieve student success.
