Category Therapy - Skilled - SLP Job Type Contract Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - School-Based Location: Seattle, Washington Job Type: Full-Time | School Year Contract Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team in Seattle, WA. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, supporting their academic and social success. You'll work closely with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to provide individualized and effective therapy services within a diverse and inclusive educational setting. Key Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations and assessments of students referred for speech and language concerns. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Provide direct therapy services to students with speech-language impairments. Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress. Maintain thorough documentation of services, assessments, and student progress. Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff professional development as needed. Stay current with best practices and state regulations related to speech-language pathology in schools. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders. Valid Washington State ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification as an SLP, or eligibility to obtain. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY candidates also considered. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
