Occupational Therapist

Stoneham Public Schools is seeking a talented Occupational Therapist who is experienced in working in schools with school-aged students. In this role, the OT will be required to evaluate and provide occupational therapy services and consultation for children with a range of profiles, within and outside of their general education classrooms. Stoneham Public Schools is working to continually increase fully inclusive opportunities for all students, in the least restrictive environment possible. Our OTs are important members of our school community in helping to promote this effort. Knowledge of and experience with research based best practices related to sensory integration, visual-motor integration and ae-appropriate, development of fine motor skills is required. Ongoing collaboration and communication with colleagues including teachers, special educators and other related service providers is essential. Establishing positive relationships with families and serving as a resource to teachers, staff and families in the school community is also required. Required: MA Licensure
