Physical Therapist Part-Time Peabody, MA
Sunbelt Staffing is currently hiring a licensed and compassionate Physical Therapist for a part-time, on-site position in a supportive school district located in Peabody, Massachusetts . This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the physical development and independence of K-12 students in an engaging and collaborative school environment.
Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students gross motor skills, mobility, balance, and physical functioning within the educational setting
Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans that align with each students IEP goals
Deliver direct therapy services and modify interventions based on ongoing progress and student needs
Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and families to support student success across all settings
Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
Participate in IEP meetings, offering clinical insight on motor development and functional support strategies
Provide training to staff on safe movement techniques, adaptive equipment use, and physical accommodations
Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist License
Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
Strong understanding of IEP processes, special education laws, and therapy documentation requirements
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Passion for working with students of all backgrounds in an inclusive educational environment
