A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) certified with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to support K-12 students in private or parochial school settings. This contract position spans the normal school year and offers the opportunity to work within elementary, middle, or high school environments based on your experience. The role involves managing caseloads of approximately 30 students, providing targeted speech and language interventions.
Location: Leonardtown, MD
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer speech and language assessments to identify students needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students communication goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes in compliance with school policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain adherence to state and federal regulations regarding speech and language services
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with school-aged children across elementary to high school levels
