Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Home Health

Location: Marlborough, MA
Job Type: Full-Time, 13-Week Contract (with potential extension)
Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Overview: Sunbelt Staffing is currently hiring a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week contract position in a Home Health setting in Marlborough, MA. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in home health or making home visits and be comfortable working independently while supporting patients in achieving their mobility and rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients in their homes
• Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising therapist
• Document patient care and services accurately and in a timely manner
• Travel within the local area to perform home visits (mileage reimbursed)

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active PTA license in the state of Massachusetts
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Prior experience in home health or conducting home visits preferred
• Experience with Home Care Home Base EMR preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
