School Speech-Language Pathologist Needed Serve Fayette County Students

Fayette County Public Schools is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy and support services to students with communication challenges. This position is a great fit for clinicians who value collaboration, individualized care, and making a lasting impact within school communities.

Role Overview:
As a school-based SLP, youll conduct evaluations, deliver targeted interventions, and work as part of an interdisciplinary team to support students academic and social success.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Administer and interpret speech and language assessments

  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals

  • Provide therapy services in individual and group settings

  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff

  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to team planning

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure service compliance

Minimum Requirements:

  • Masters in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Active Georgia SLP License

  • Valid PSC Certificate to serve in Georgia public schools

  • ASHA certification (CCC) preferred

  • Prior school experience is helpful but not required

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Details:

  • Type: Full-time, onsite

  • Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

  • Caseload: Students in K12 (varies based on assignment)
