Occupational Therapist Opening Deliver Impactful K12 Therapy in Cincinnati

Cincinnati Public Schools is looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their student support team full-time. This position focuses on providing direct therapy and consultation to help students access learning through improved motor and functional skills.

Role Summary:
As the OT, youll assess student needs, implement intervention strategies, and collaborate with educational staff and families to maximize classroom participation and independence.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations for sensory, fine motor, and daily living skills

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals

• Provide therapy services in pull-out and classroom-based settings

• Document progress and maintain compliance with state and district policies

• Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers

• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active Ohio OT License

• ODE Pupil Services Certification for school-based OT

• Experience in school or pediatric environments is a plus

• Effective communication and organization skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday, during regular school hours

• Caseload: K12 (specific assignments based on district needs)
