Speech-Language Pathologist Role Help Students Communicate and Thrive in Elizabeth, NJ

Elizabeth Public Schools is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy and support for students with speech and language needs. This is a rewarding, school-based opportunity to help students overcome communication barriers and succeed in the classroom.

About the Role:
As an SLP, youll assess communication challenges, deliver individualized treatment, and collaborate with teachers, families, and IEP teams to help students achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and create compliant reports

• Deliver therapy services aligned with IEP objectives

• Treat speech, fluency, language, and social communication needs

• Collaborate with educators and special education teams

• Participate in IEP meetings and provide progress updates

• Maintain thorough and accurate service records

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active New Jersey SLP License

• NJ Department of Education Speech-Language Specialist Certification

• ASHA CCC preferred

• Experience in school or pediatric settings a plus

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during regular school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assigned by district)
