SLP Position Available Serve Students in Jersey City Public Schools

Jersey City Public Schools is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy and language support services to students with communication challenges. Position Overview:
As an SLP, youll evaluate student needs, develop treatment plans aligned with IEP goals, and deliver direct therapy to help students build functional speech and language skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations

• Provide therapy for articulation, language, fluency, and social communication

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development

• Maintain compliance with district and state documentation standards

• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active New Jersey SLP License

• Speech-Language Specialist Certificate issued by NJ DOE

• ASHA CCC preferred

• Previous school or pediatric experience a plus

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday, standard school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignment varies by district need)
