This contract position runs for the 2023-2024 school year from July 16th through May 21st. The role primarily involves supervising two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), with opportunities for direct therapy sessions as well. The caseload is mixed, providing a diverse and engaging work experience. Responsibilities: Supervise and support two full-time SLPAs to effectively deliver speech and language services Provide direct therapy to students as needed, addressing a variety of speech and language disorders Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary support for students Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) State school SLP certification or licensure Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred Strong supervisory and communication skills Ability to manage a mixed caseload effectively Location: Apache Junction, Arizona
