School Speech and Language Pathologist

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide specialized support in a K-12 educational setting in the Milford, DE area. This full-time contract role spans the 2025-2026 school year, from August 21, 2025, to June 12, 2026, offering a structured Monday through Friday schedule with 37.5 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students across various grade levels. Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess student communication needs. Develop and write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams. Participate actively in IEP meetings and other relevant student-focused conferences. Collect and analyze progress monitoring data to inform treatment plans. Maintain detailed therapy notes and documentation in compliance with school policies. Utilize software systems including Data Service Center and PowerSchool IEP for case management and reporting. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid Delaware licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology required. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is mandatory. Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills to manage caseload and collaborate with staff.
