Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive therapy services within a K-12 school setting in Puyallup, WA. The role is a contract position for the 2023-2024 school year, focusing on delivering evaluations and targeted treatment to students with speech and language disorders. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' needs Administer therapy sessions aimed at achieving specific speech and language goals Carefully monitor, document, and report on student progress throughout the therapy process Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including educators and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care Engage and educate families to support student outcomes in therapy Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice as an SLP in Washington Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations highly desired Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and team members Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology for Washington state required Benefits:
