A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for a school-based setting serving students in grades PreK-6. This position involves supporting a caseload of approximately 20 students with a range of mild, moderate, and severe disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), intellectual disabilities, and developmental delays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to assess student needs
- Write detailed evaluation reports
- Provide therapy services tailored to individual student goals
- Attend and actively participate in Evaluation Team Reports (ETR) and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Deliver itinerant therapy services across multiple classrooms as required
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with students diagnosed with ASD, intellectual disabilities, and developmental delays
- Skilled in conducting evaluations and writing clear, comprehensive reports
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families in educational settings
- Commitment to supporting student communication development in a K-6 school environment
Location and Schedule:
- Based in Cleveland, OH
- Part-time position, approximately 15 hours per week
- School year contract (NSY)
