Speech-Language Pathologist in Santa Rosa, CA

This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting in Santa Rosa, CA. The position is on a contract basis for the upcoming school year (NSY), focusing on supporting children with speech and language challenges across a diverse student population.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
• Lead therapy sessions that address specific speech and language goals
• Maintain detailed documentation to track student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate student care
• Educate and involve families in therapy approaches and progress

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations highly desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential
• Ability to operate both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology
