Performs various clerical duties, including but not limited to data entry, typing and composing routine correspondence, checking for correct grammar, spelling, and letter format, retrieving and compiling data, and preparing reports. Operate standard office equipment such as calculators, copiers, computer with appropriate software usage, facsimile machines, TDD, and mail distribution. Assist with phone coverage activities and receptionist responsibilities. Support customer's and vendors' activities, both in person and via telephone.

There is a possibility of a remote/hybrid schedule based on performance and operational need. However, all work must be performed in Michigan. If you currently reside outside of Michigan, you must relocate to Michigan to perform the duties of this position.

Education
Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school.

Experience
General Office Assistant 5
No specific type or amount of experience is required.

General Office Assistant 6
One year of administrative support experience.

General Office Assistant E7
Two years of administrative support experience, including one year equivalent to the intermediate level.
