## Job Summary
Provide speech therapy services to identify, evaluate, rehabilitate, and educate clients, patients, and students who have congenital, developmental, or acquired communication, cognitive, swallowing, and/or voice disorders. Evaluation, treatment, and consultation will be provided with the goal of contributing to the well-being of the individual and assisting in their return to optimal living within their capacity. Services will be offered in a variety of settings, including outpatient, inpatient, home health, long-term care, and schools. Additionally, prevention and wellness services, such as screenings and health promotions, are included.

## Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations to assess communication, cognitive, swallowing, and voice disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients and clients.
- Provide therapy services in outpatient, inpatient, home health, long-term care, and school settings.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to maximize treatment outcomes.
- Offer prevention and wellness services, including screenings and health promotions.
- Maintain accurate records and document services provided.
- Educate patients, families, and staff on strategies to improve communication and swallowing functions.

## Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Nebraska.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a variety of patient cases across multiple settings.
- Knowledge of current practices in speech-language pathology, including evidence-based interventions.
- Experience with documentation and assessment platforms/tools.
