We are a dynamic and collaborative ABA-based agencythat partners with school districts to support students needing specialized therapeutic services. Our mission is to provide comprehensive, individualized support to help students successfully reintegrate into their home public school settings. We’re seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team and work directly within a school-based environment.

The Occupational Therapist will provide direct and consultative services to students placed in an intensive school-based therapeutic setting. This role focuses on fostering students’ independence and functional success in the classroom environment by targeting sensory processing, motor development, executive functioning, visual motor integration, and social-emotional skills. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, child-centered environment and has experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related neurodevelopmental differences.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct comprehensive assessments and ongoing observations to identify each student's OT-related needs.

· Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with each student’s IEP goals and objectives.

· Provide therapy focused on:

o Sensory regulation and sensory processing differences

o Fine and gross motor skill development

o Visual motor integration and visual perceptual skills

o Executive functioning (e.g., cognitive flexibility, attention, transitions, routines)

o Social-emotional learning and cognitive regulation

o Retained primitive reflex integration

· Modify the environment, tasks, and activities to support student participation in academic, vocational, and functional life skills.

· Promote student engagement in tasks such as tabletop work, cooking activities, vocational tasks, and academic learning through individualized sensory and motor supports.

· Collaborate closely with ABA therapists, special educators, speech-language pathologists, and behavior analysts to support interdisciplinary treatment planning.

· Regularly document progress and participate in IEP meetings and parent consultations.

· Utilize a trauma-informed lens and understanding of nervous system regulation in therapy design and delivery.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

· Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of New Hampshire.

· NBCOT certification required.

· Experience working in school settings and/or with neurodivergent students preferred.

· Familiarity with sensory integration, executive functioning strategies, and trauma-informed care is highly valued.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and flexible mindset.
