A full-time speech language pathologist opportunity is available for the 2024-2025 school year, serving a primarily 9th-grade student population. This role involves managing a caseload of approximately 35-45 students and working four days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on speech sound disorders, language delays, and other communication challenges.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and state guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and IEP development.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with adolescent students, preferably in a high school setting.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based speech and language intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads and adapt therapy to diverse student needs.
