School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Rogersville, Tennessee

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide therapeutic support in a school setting from January 4th through May 24th. This contract position offers approximately 35 hours per week, supporting a caseload of around 50 students. Flexible arrangements for part-time work are available, and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will be provided to support caseload management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for an assigned group of students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other related service providers to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and planning sessions to ensure integrated student support
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP license or certification in accordance with state requirements
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working in educational settings preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and adapt interventions to diverse student populations
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with a collaborative mindset
