Job Description:
Provide a full range of mental health services to Goucher students, including psychodiagnositc intakes, crisis assessment and stabilization, short-term psychotherapy, psychoeducation and outreach, and group psychotherapy. Oversee center programming efforts that include collaborating with campus and community partners. Contribute to effective intra-departmental functioning of center and inter-departmental collaboration
Essential Job Functions:
40% A. Provision of mental health services including intake, treatment planning, and short-term therapy.
30% B. Oversee, design, promote, and implement the community psychoeducation outreach programs, events, with collaboration with campus partners.
10% C. Participation in intra-departmental staff meetings, case consultations, didactics seminars supervision, and assigned duties to facilitate that adaptive functioning of the center
5% D. Administrative tasks associated with clinical case load, including clinical documentation, statistics, communication/referrals, etc
5% E. Provision of crisis assessment, stabilization, and referrals associated with walk-ins, escalation of existing clients, and follow-up with cases associated with ProtoCall subcontract
5 % F. Participation in inter-departmental collaborations (committees, consultations, trainings, etc.)
Education:
Required: Graduate degree in mental health field and associated licensure in state of MD.
Preferred: LCPC or LCSW-C
Professional Experience:
Required: One year working with clinical and developmental issues in adolescent/emerging adult populations. One year experience coordinating programming and events focusing on mental health outreach.
Preferred: Three years of experience in a college counseling center, providing mental health services and programming. Three years of experience in provision of empirically supported short-term interventions.
The starting salary for this position is $53,644.00.
