Position Overview: We are looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at our Bronx Outpatient Clinic. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals of all ages regain their independence, improve their quality of life, and achieve their maximum potential through personalized therapy plans. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine individualized treatment plans. Develop and implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions. Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic patient care. Monitor and track patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans. Educate patients and their families on therapy goals, home exercises, and strategies for optimal outcomes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards. Stay current with the latest research and trends in occupational therapy practice. Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education opportunities. Qualifications: A valid New York state license as an Occupational Therapist. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (Master's degree preferred). Current CPR certification. Strong clinical and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
