As a Physical Therapist Assistant in our Home Health team, youll:
Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions in patients homes under the plan of care set by a licensed Physical Therapist.
Educate patients and caregivers on safe mobility, home exercise programs and adaptive equipment.
Document treatments, progress notes and reassessments in our electronic health record (EHR) in real time.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care teamincluding PTs, OTs, nurses and social workersto optimize outcomes.
Travel within our Iowa/Illinois service area using your reliable vehicle (mileage paid).
RequirementDetails
Education Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
Licensure Current PTA license in IowaorIllinois (secondstate license within 6months)
Certifications BLS/CPR through the American Heart Association
Drivers License Valid license, auto insurance meeting Genesis minimums
Tech & Documentation Comfortable with mobile EHR charting
Soft Skills Clear, compassionate communication; ability to motivate patients in home settings
