Speech Language Pathologist in Laurel, MD

A K-12 school in the Rockville, MD area is seeking multiple Speech-Language Pathologists for a contract position lasting the full school year. This role offers the opportunity to work 35 hours per week supporting students' speech and language development in a dynamic educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments for students in grades K-12.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning.

Qualifications:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred; Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will also be considered.
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a K-12 setting.
• Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, intervention strategies, and assessment tools.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with students, families, and colleagues.
• Valid state licensure and certification as required.

Location: Rockville, Maryland area
Schedule: 35 hours per week
