A K-12 school in the Rockville, MD area is seeking multiple Speech-Language Pathologists for a contract position lasting the full school year. This role offers the opportunity to work 35 hours per week supporting students' speech and language development in a dynamic educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students in grades K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred; Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will also be considered.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a K-12 setting.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, intervention strategies, and assessment tools.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with students, families, and colleagues.
- Valid state licensure and certification as required.
