Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in Joliet, IL

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for the 20252026 school year to provide essential speech and language services to K12 students. This contract position runs from August 21, 2025, to June 4, 2026, with a MondayFriday schedule from 7:30 AM to 2:45 PM in Joliet, IL. The role focuses on supporting speech and language development for a caseload of approximately 2025 students.

Key responsibilities include managing student cases, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and delivering targeted speech and language support to enhance student outcomes. This role requires strong collaboration with educators and families to ensure comprehensive student progress and compliance with educational standards.

Qualifications and experience desired:

  • Active Illinois SLP-CCC license with a Professional Educator License (PEL) including SLP endorsement
  • Bachelors degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Proven experience working with K12 student populations
  • Skilled in case management and IEP development and implementation
  • Commitment to in-person work (virtual/remote not accepted)
  • Candidates with SLP Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) credentials are not eligible
