Position Highlights

Deliver specialized speech therapy services remotely to students with diverse communication needs. Your clinical expertise will support children and adolescents in developing essential communication skills through creative, technology-enhanced interventions. Build meaningful therapeutic relationships despite the virtual format.

Work with students presenting articulation disorders, receptive and expressive language delays, social communication challenges, and voice disorders. Collaborate with school teams to integrate communication goals into daily academic activities. Provide consultation services to enhance communication-rich classroom environments.

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive speech and language assessments to determine eligibility and develop appropriate goals. Create individualized therapy plans incorporating evidence-based practices and engaging virtual activities. Conduct regular therapy sessions using interactive digital tools and materials.

Monitor student progress through data collection and analysis. Adjust treatment approaches based on ongoing assessment results. Communicate regularly with families to share progress updates and provide home practice recommendations. Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning.

Qualification Requirements

Graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology from ASHA-accredited program. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Valid Kentucky speech language pathology license. Two or more years of experience providing therapy services in educational settings.

Strong computer skills and comfort with virtual platforms. Excellent interpersonal communication abilities. Experience working with school-age populations across various disability categories. Reliable internet connection and professional home office setup.
