Utica Community Schools is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to help students overcome communication challenges and achieve their full academic potential. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a direct impact in a collaborative school environment.
Position Summary:
As the SLP, you will assess student needs, create individualized therapy plans, and deliver services that help students develop critical speech and language skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech-language assessments and prepare evaluation reports
Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
Address articulation, fluency, receptive/expressive language, and social communication
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
Participate in IEP meetings and provide progress updates
Maintain compliance documentation and monitor student growth
Required Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Michigan SLP License
Michigan Department of Education Approval/Certification
ASHA CCC preferred
School or pediatric experience is a plus
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
Job Details:
Type: Full-time, onsite
Schedule: MondayFriday, during school hours
Caseload: K12 students (assigned by district)
