Speech-Language Pathologist Needed Join Paterson Public Schools

Position Overview:
As an SLP, youll assess student needs, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy to support speech, language, and social communication development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and prepare reports

• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals

• Address articulation, fluency, receptive/expressive language, and pragmatic skills

• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning and progress monitoring

• Maintain compliance with documentation standards

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active New Jersey SLP License

• NJ DOE Speech-Language Specialist Certification

• ASHA CCC strongly preferred

• School-based experience preferred

• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments vary by district needs)
