Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) - Elgin, IL

An opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide skilled support within a K-12 educational setting. This contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year, offering approximately 22.5 hours per week to assist students with occupational therapy needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students across grades K-12, supporting their developmental and educational goals.
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
• Document therapy progress and maintain compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements.
• Adapt therapy activities to meet the diverse needs of students in the school environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois COTA license required.
• Previous experience in both healthcare and school-based occupational therapy settings preferred.
