Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Raleigh, NC

Job Overview:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in the Apex area. In this role, you will support students with speech and language disorders, working closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of individual therapy plans and interventions
• Conduct group and individual sessions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Monitor student progress and report findings to the supervising SLP
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to facilitate communication strategies
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field
• Current North Carolina SLPA license or eligibility for licensure
• Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required
