Position Overview:
We are excited to invite applications for a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. In this essential role, you will help young students enhance their communication skills, enabling them to thrive both academically and socially. Your expertise will be vital in creating a supportive environment where children can express themselves confidently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments to identify the specific communication needs of students. This includes utilizing standardized tests, observational techniques, and collaborating with teachers and parents to gather comprehensive data.

• Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with each students unique goals and needs. These plans should be dynamic and adaptable, ensuring they meet the evolving requirements of the students.

• Engaging Therapy Sessions: Provide interactive and effective therapy sessions for students with a range of communication disorders, including speech delays, language impairments, and social communication challenges. Your sessions will be designed to motivate and engage students, making learning enjoyable.

• Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other staff members to create a holistic support system for students. This collaboration will include sharing strategies for reinforcing communication skills in the classroom and at home.

Qualifications:

• Education: A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required.

• Licensure: A current Missouri SLP license is essential for this role.

• Experience: Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is strongly preferred, as it will provide valuable insights into the unique needs of children in an educational environment.
