K12 Caseload | Onsite Therapy | MI SLP License & DOE Certification Required

Dearborn City Schools is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy and assessment services that help students build essential communication skills for academic and social success. This is a great chance to be part of a collaborative, student-focused team.

Position Overview:
As an SLP, you will assess student needs, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver interventions targeting a variety of speech and language areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and prepare clear, compliant reports

• Develop and implement therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals

• Address articulation, fluency, receptive and expressive language, and pragmatic skills

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support progress

• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations and updates

• Maintain documentation to meet district and state requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active Michigan SLP License

• Michigan Department of Education Certification for School-Based SLPs

• ASHA CCC strongly preferred

• Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
