Occupational Therapist School Setting in Arlington Heights, IL

A full-time, school-based Occupational Therapist (OT) opportunity is available for the 2024/2025 school year in Wauconda, IL. This contract position focuses on delivering therapy services to help students improve their functional skills and participation in the educational environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing evaluation, treatment, and consultation to students with diverse needs
• Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy goals as needed
• Supporting students engagement in classroom and school activities

Qualifications and experience:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current Illinois Occupational Therapy license
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and parent collaboration
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary environments
