Job Description
A full-time contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials to provide services to PreK and elementary students. This opportunity is set in Dearborn, MI, and spans the upcoming school year, offering a dynamic environment to support young learners in developing essential communication skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in PreK and elementary students
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting on student performance and outcomes
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with PreK and elementary-aged children, particularly within school settings
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads and maintain detailed documentation
