Pediatric Clinical Fellow SLP in Portage, IN

This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) interested in supporting K-12 students through a full-semester contract. Located in Portage, IN, this role involves delivering teletherapy and in-person services tailored to pediatric populations within a school setting.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing assessments
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address communication challenges
• Monitoring student progress, adjusting interventions as needed, and maintaining detailed documentation
• Providing education and support to students, families, and caregivers to promote communication goals
• Collaborating with educators and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and consistent support

Qualifications and experience sought include:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
• Active or pending state licensure as an SLP, with previous school experience preferred but not mandatory
• Demonstrated skills in pediatric care, teletherapy, and school-based services
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
