To evaluate and treat patients ages 0-21, with diseases, injuries, disorders and disabilities, to relieve pain, develop or restore function and maintain maximum performance, using physical modalities and exercise as prescribed by a physician.

  • If licensed prior to 2016: Bachelor?s degree in Physical Therapy or basic MS.
  • If licensed on or after 2016: Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT).
  • Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Program and Clinical Internship.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Michigan.
  • Advanced specialty practice in the evaluation and treatment of all Pelvic floor diagnoses for children, adolescents, and adults.
  • DPT degree in physical therapy or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One year or more of pelvic floor experience, including pediatric pelvic floor experience, pelvic floor residency, or 9+ week clinical affiliation including pediatric pelvic floor training

This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the United Michigan Medicine Allied Professionals (UMMAP), which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment.

Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
