Speech-Language Pathologist Position Inspire Communication in Toms River Schools

Toms River Regional Schools is looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to help students develop critical speech and language skills that support learning, confidence, and social engagement. Join a collaborative team that values your expertise and passion for student success.

Role Overview:
In this position, youll assess students, design individualized therapy plans, and deliver services that meet each learners unique needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations and prepare detailed reports

• Create and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP objectives

• Address articulation, fluency, receptive/expressive language, and pragmatic skills

• Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to encourage steady progress

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations

• Maintain accurate documentation per district and state regulations

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active New Jersey SLP License

• New Jersey DOE Certification for school-based SLPs

• ASHA CCC strongly preferred

• Prior experience in schools or pediatric settings encouraged

• Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills

Position Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district priorities)
