Occupational Therapist Opportunity Join Rochester Community Schools Full-Time

Rochester Community Schools is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide therapy and assessments that help students develop fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills essential for classroom success. Position Overview:
As an OT, you will assess student abilities, design personalized treatment plans, and deliver therapy that empowers students to participate confidently in daily school activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and prepare clear, detailed reports

• Develop and implement therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals

• Address fine motor coordination, self-care skills, and sensory processing

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress

• Attend IEP meetings and provide recommendations and updates

• Maintain accurate records to comply with district and state regulations

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active Michigan Occupational Therapy License

• Michigan Department of Education Certification for School-Based OT

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
